They can then sell them at shops ( e.g the Supermarket) and the money can then be sent to savethelemurs.com, the money will then be used for equipment that will be used to monitor the Lemurs, ensuring the safety and survival of the Lemurs for future generations.
1) People our age can raise awareness to stop the illegal logging taking place in the Rainforests of the Atsinanana by making posters or they could also raise awareness by making a website, to aware young people of the damage that is the result of the illegal logging and of the affects to the environment around the illegal logging.
The Rainforests of Atsinanana was placed on the world heritage list due to the illegally logged timber, and the deforestation of multiple species of endangered and rare animals. The Environmental Committee urged Madagascar to take desperate measures to determine the halt of the illegal logging activities. The Rainforests of the Atsinanana are critically important for upholding the survival of the islands unique biodiversity, which reflects its geological history. Many species are now endangered due to the illegal logging of their homes.
Besides the breathtaking view, amazing scenery, and one of the most diverse collections of plants and animal life on Earth, the Rainforests of the Atsinanana has one of the largest collections of Lemurs found anywhere on Earth. The Lemurs make up most of Madagascars animals. The Rainforests of the Atsinanana is also home to many more unique types of animals, such as the Mongoose, the Chameleon, the Fossas, Civets and many more unique types of animals found nowhere else on this planet, making the Rainforests of the Atsinanana truly unique.
