What is solar activity?
The sun is a magnetic star that on time constantly changes on scales ranging from a fraction of a second to billions of years. Solar flares, coronal mass ejection, high speed solar wind, and solar energetic particals are all forms of solar activities. All solar activities is driven by the solar magnetic field.
