- Francisco Madero, a liberal reformer demanded there to be free elections towards a new leader.
- This caused a rebellion within some countries.
- Venustiano Carranza made a new constitution.
- This strengthened the government control, allowed nationalism, and gave woman some rights.
(The government actually used the constitution to help other in 1920-1930)
Profirio Diaz
Porfirio Diaz becomes dictator
- Porfirio Diaz became the dictator of Latin America bringing citizens peach and economic growth.
- Diaz resigned which caused a bloody complex struggle within Latin America.
- Carranza was overthrown
- There was an increase in cultural nationalism which portrayed struggles of Mexicans for liberty.
- President Lazaro Cardenas gives land back to peasants and sets up schools and librarys.
- Good Neighbor Policy between the U.S and Latin America
- States the U.S will back off of Latin America

- Improved relationships with L.A and the U.S
