The Normans are of Viking heritage and have Norse mythology. The Normans were known for assimilating into other cultures.

Norse mythology includes a lot of deities like the thunder god Thor. Norse mythology also says that their are nine worlds that all center around the great and mighty magic tree Yggdrasil.

Among many Aboriginal cultures, storytelling was a common practice on long winter evenings and they practice traditional spirituality. Activities such as hunting, clan membership and other aspects of daily life may often be imbued with spiritual meaning. Aboriginal people believed in deities like Raven and Coyote.

French-Canadian folklore has its roots in the folklore of France. The folklore of French Canada includes some rituals associated with Church holidays. The Temps des fetes was long celebrated at the end of the Christmas season in both Quebec and in Arcadian communities. The Temps des fetes is the holiday season. Food was central for the celebration. It was traditional to use up the remains of the year's wheat harvest by making Crepes or donuts.

Breton mythology features a lot of gods and creatures related to nature cults. Breton mythology features gods like Ankou who is the personification of death.

The Gauls were another subset of Celtic people whose Celtic cosmology predominates their mythology.

The Breton's are a subset of Celtic people that adopted Christianity. Their Celtic cosmology predominates their mythology

In the mythology of the Gauls most of the major gods are related to Greek gods. Gaul mythology also features some Roman gods like Dis Pater a Roman god of the Underworld.

English-Canadian Folklore

Franks

Frankish mythology basically takes Roman mythology and alters it so that it suits Germanic tastes. From Frankish mythology sprang the myths about the great Knights of Lancelot.

Frankish legends and mythologies revolve around Charlemagne as champion of Christianity and mythological king to France. The Franks are not entirely about mythology. A christian cosmology and epic stories predominate.

Early English-Canadian has several points of origin, because of various settlers from places like England and Scotland coming over. Each group of settlers that came brought with them their traditions and cultures.
