Current (I):

Resistance (R):

Voltage (V):

Ohm's Law

The law of conservation of energy stayes that the total amount of energy in a closed system remains constant.

The flow of electrons, measured by the number of electrons that pass a given point per second. The greater the constant the greater the flow of electrons.

Energy

Transfer

The measure of energy available to move electrons. The greater the voltage the more electron movement.

The opposite of flow of electrons. It produces heat, light, or mechanical energy. The longer/thinner the wire or greater the temperature, the greater the resistance.

Electrons will flow from an aera of high concetration to an area of low concentration but it takes energy to move the electrons.

Volts (V)

Amps (A)

Ohms (Ω)

Energy can be converted from one form to another, but cannot be created or destroyed.

Electical Current

Series Circuit

Parallel Circuit

Circuits

I=V/R

Any path along which electric charge can flow is known as a

circuit.

Multiple-pathway circuit

Single-pathway circuit

I=V/R or V=IR or R=V/I

Shortest Wave Length

Longest Wave Length

Radiation is defined by its wavelenth, frequency, and energy.

Wavelength is the distance from peak and crest.
