- Mother's day was first celebrated in the US in 1908
- It started when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother in Virginia, US.
- It was officially recognized as a holiday in 1905
- Her main motive was to spread the message that a mother is much more important than any other thing in the world
Why is Mothers day celebrated?
Importance of Mothers
- Mother’s Day is a celebration of bond of love and affection between a mother and a child and it celebrates the spirit of motherhood.
- Bringing up a child through giving birth, and helping him or her growing up into an adult is considered to be the essence of motherhood. It is a challenge in itself, as she has to go through countless hardships in the process
- Mother’s Day is an occasion where the child and society remembers and acknowledges the essence and the effort that goes into giving birth and rearing a new life. This is a special day for children as well as the mothers and they get an opportunity to relish the everlasting bond of love and affection between them.
- If it weren’t for your mom, you wouldn’t be breathing right now.
- Our mothers worked hard and made sacrifices, so our lives would be better. There are not a lot of people willing to do that,
- Mother is the nurturers & custodian of their kids and families.
- Mother heart is always very soft and patient. Mother heart is like a rare jewel. They love their kids during the worst (trouble) & best of times.
- Mother’s always our very close and best friend and she is only person in the world who never deceives to their children.
- She is the one who will support your dreams when no one else will.
We all know what mother importance in our life is. Mother’s are very important and needed in child life. In our all life we learn different things from our mother. Mothers always teach us and her advice always very beneficial for us.
