If the honey guide bird wasn't there....
The honey badger wouldn't be able to survive because the need the honey to survive when they aren't able to hunt yet.
If the honey badger wasn't there....
The bird wouldn't be able to get to the honey that it has found. This is also one of its main sources of nutrition. This would affect the birds survival negatively.

The Bird:

The Badger:
silver like fur
sharp claws and teeth
The steps through the mutual relationship
- The honey guide bird locates the honey
- The bird cannot get to it
- So he guides the badger to the honey
- The badger opens the nest with his claws and eats what it needs too
- And the rest goes to the bird for finding the honey
