Assessment is based on a check list of the "to do list" and the writing of their description of their home

Step 1: Allow student to play with computer to get the feel of it
2. give them the directions on how to look up their homes using the google earth apps.
3. once they located their homes on google earth students will give a brief description of their home by answering the questions provided on how to describe their home.

1. Students will brain storm some of what they know that they celebrate with thier familiy
2. Each student will write about what they enjoy the most.
3.• Have them make a mind map or graphic organizer with the family celebration in the center connected to various aspects of the celebration. Students can create their mind maps using Kidspiration
4. After teacher reviews their choice of celebration have them create a story about it
5. Help them create slides of what their story is about .
6. Have them read out their slides and talk about it (EducationWorld)
