Some advice received that I had received from Maureen was to not sweat the small stuff, treat others as you want to be treated and always keep your head up.
I had decided to interview a person from my hometown. I chose Maureen because I found it interesting in this economy, especially with what Goderich has been through as a town how they are still thriving with so many staff & services. The location of the spa and salon is in Goderich right on the highway, so it is a good location to bring in new customers. I had asked her many questions and this is what I had gathered from all that information because I do not want to bore you ladies to much; Maureen has chosen to live in that area & stay dedicated to the town because it is home. ''You know everyone and it is easy to keep in touch with clients and new customers because it is a smaller rural area.'' They stay busy and heavily staffed on a regular basis, with more hours and services performed closer to holidays, graduations and proms. The most popular clientele that comes through the spa on a regular basis is generally older, which isn't to say there aren't young people that come through regularily.
-Advertisements that I would have personally invested in would be social media, a website, yellow pages, online search engines, flyers and magazine and newspaper ads.
-Daily problems/conflicts that I see arising would be client cancellations, typical work drama and dealing with unhappy clients. Ways to deal with these problems will come with time but as far as I know dealing with unhappy clients and customers they are always right, Treating staff employees with the same respect that I would want to receive, having great listening skills and to treat one another like family.

Why pay someone else to do it, when you could potentially do it yourself?
-Hair to Toe will be a hairstylist studio and an esthetics salon, located in one of the major cities in Ontario.
-Services that I will offer to the public will be hair cuts, colour and accessories, waxing, tinting, basic skin care services, massages, makeup applications, manicures and pedicures.
-Staff that will be employed will be at least 10-15 woman/men in the salon.
-The audience that I am aiming to hit would be all ages, young woman for extensions to elderly ladies for perms to men for hair tattooing.
