Diagnosis: Disposphobia(hoarding disorder)

-obsessed with collecting useless objects

-DSM-5 Criteria: "people with hoarding disorder have a conscious, ongoing urge to accumulate possessions, as well as corresponding feelings of anxiety or mental anguish whenever those possessions get thrown away."

-Scene: "A part of your world." The lyric, "I've got gadgets and gizmos aplenty, I've got whozits and whatzits galore, you want thingamabobs? I got twenty but who cares? No big deal, I want more..."

- wants more things that have no meaning

-could be due to her confinement to the sea all her life

Diangosis: Generalized Anxiety Disorder

- panics at every little situation

DSM-5 Criteria: "The worry is experienced as very challenging to control. "

Scene : when Flounder panics at the fear that sharks might appear

-he's consistently looking at everything around him

treatment: taking antidepressant to depresses the central nervous system

-calms him down

Flounder Background Information

The Little Mermaid Synopsis

-sensitive

-terrified of outside forces

-willing to support a friend despite the level of danger

-catious of the possibilities

-fearful of small things

-panics frequently

The story takes place underwater where a rebellious mermaid, Ariel, seeks to life on line. her father, King Triton forbids her to ever go on land due to the dangerous situations that could happen. She then meets a fish named flounder who will become her best friend.she is bounded to live underwater for the rest her life, but being the rebellious teen she is, she defies his orders and trades her voice for legs. She goes on land and seeks Prince Eric whom she had saved. In order to get her voice back, she must get a "true loves kiss". She hopes to get it from Eric but Ursula gets in the way. In the end, her father grants her to be human forever and she marries Eric.
