Somló sponge cake
Ingredients

- 6 eggs
- 6 tbsp of sugar
- 6 level tbsp of flour
- vanilla flavouring
- 2 heaped tbsp cocoa powder
- 200 ml milk
- 1 egg
- 1 heaped tbsp sugar
- 100 g/4 oz butter
- 1 heaped tsp flour
- 2 heped tbsp cocoa
Walnut cream
Topping
- 100 g/4 oz butter
- 100 g/4 oz ground walnuts
- 200 ml milk, 1 heaped tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp rum
- 1 heaped tsp flour
- 300 ml/half pint whipping cream
- 100 ml/2 and half fl oz milk
- 1 tbsp rum
- 100 g/4 oz sugar

Túró Rudi

- 1/2 kg cottage cheese
- castor sugar for taste
- 2 package vanilla sugar
- 1 shell of lemon grated
- 2,5 dl milk
- 1 package gelatine
- 1 plate of dark chocolate
While put the gelatine and milk in an other bowl and mix them.
Put the cottage cheese, costar sugar and shell of lemon in a bowl and mix them.

Mix the two mixtures.
Pour the mixture in special bowl and put in the fridge.
While heat the dark chocolate, that is a liquid.
Or put the all mixture in the fridge, and then have to reformat.

- 2½ teaspoons salt
- 2½ liters water

- 1½ kg beef, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 5 medium carrots, sliced into bite-sized rounds
- 2 large potatoes, diced
- 2 tomatoes, diced

Heat the oil in a large pot. Add the onions along with a few spoonfuls of water (so they don’t brown) and a pinch of the salt. Cook slowly over very low heat for about 15 minutes.
Add the meat and cook over high heat, stirring, until the meat is slightly browned (about ten minutes). Turn the heat down to low, add a few spoonfuls of water, and cook for about 15 more minutes, until the meat is nearly cooked through. Add the water and keep cooking, over low heat, for at least an hour.

Remove from the heat and add pepper. Stir quickly to combine and add a tiny bit of water (to prevent the pepper from burning).

brown the bread crumbs in a frying-pan
whisk the white of the egg and fold it slowly in the dollop
put the curd cheese, the grits, the egg yolk, and the salt in a pot
and mix it up
cover the dollop with plastic wrap
and leave it for 2 hours
500g curd cheese
120g grits
3 eggs
a pinch salt
200ml sour cream
bread crumbs
powdered sugar
put them in the toasted bread crumbs
serve it on a plate with sour cream and powdered sugar on the top
wet your hands to shape little balls from the dollop and put them in the boiling water
they are ready when the dumplings come up to the top of the water
