The Holy Spirit is like an invisible (but REAL) friend that stays with us 24/7. The Holy Spirit HELPS and TEACHES us to be more like Jesus and COMFORTS us when we feel lonely, scared or sad.

The Fruits of the Holy Spirit

The Fruits of the Holy Spirit involve

actions and behaviours that prove that the Holy Spirit lives inside us. We think of the Fruits as the qualities of someone who tries hard to be the best Catholic/Christian they can be!

Gifts and Fruits

Love

What does the Holy Spirit

look like?

Loving God, ourselves, others (even if we don't get along with them) and Creation. We must be unselfish and caring to all.

Joy

The Holy Spirit has also been represented in the Bible many other ways too:

* Powerful & quick like the WIND (Acts 2: 1-2)

* Bright & purifying like FIRE (Acts 2:3-4)

*Quenches our thirst for God like WATER (Jn 7: 38 -39)

*Gentle & comforting like a DOVE (Lk 3:22)

*Healing like OIL (ACts 10: 36-38)

Being happy following Jesus' teaching.

Celebrating God's love and all that He does

for us.

Having a positive outlook on life.

What does the Holy Spirit

look like?

"When the day of Pentecost had come, they were

all together in one place. And suddenly a sound came

from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it

filled all the house where they were sitting. And

there appeared to them tongues as of fire,

distributed and resting on each one of them."

Acts 2: 1-3

What does the Holy Spirit

look like?

In Acts 2: 1-2 The Holy Spirit was revealed like

a very gusty wind and individual flames of fire that sat on sat disciples' head, which gave them the ability to preach in different languages so everyone could hear the Word of God.

The Holy Spirit is...

a (spiritual) form through which God makes Himself

present to us in our lives. God has also made Himself

known to us through Jesus - this is God's human

form.
