As mentioned earlier, Adults don't have much time for entertainment. However, when they get an opportunity, they visited music halls and theaters. Music Halls area type of British theatrical entertainment popular between 1850 and 1960. There, they watched plays, comedies, listened to popular music, and enjoyed other varieties of entertainment. Soon enough, the idea of a Music Hall arrived in America, where it quickly spread throughout the nation. Theaters are very similar to Music Halls, the only difference being that Theaters mainly specialize in plays and operas. The first theaters were built in France during the French Revolution, making them much older than Music Halls. However, they only became popular after the 1800s.
