Cognitive Development
Cognitive Development
- I'm finally in middle school where I face vast cognitive deveolpment as school is getting much more serious and requires many memorization, identification, and understanding skills to face new challenges and I am focused on doing good in school which is a great example of becoming more cognitively devolped and starting to become a yound adult, and how my attitude towards school will stay the same throught middle and high school and must focus on my grades
Social Development
Social Development
- Not much social development has happened in this stage because I feel like I have a good group of friends
- But a very important social development that has happened in this stage is getting to know myself and truly forming my own identity and gaining confidence to becoming who I truly am as a person, and i feel like in this stage we are greatly impacted by popularity at school and trying to fit in which affects our social development and forming our identity, and I am generally a very shy person and doesnt like to speak up and do public speaking but this stage and school has forced me to do that and become more open to who I am and express emotions
High School 2021-2022
HIGH SCHOOL
Physical Development
Physical Development
- I feel like physically I havent changed much compared to middle school, I only grew about an inch taller and finally took off my braces, but I have also changed a bit as my facial features and body shape
Cognitive Development
Cognitive Development
- High school is FULL of cognitive change, as I am now facing many more challenges and have to use my abstract thinking and memorization skills for school
- A major cognitive development in this stage is having to choose my career through my subject choices and IB or AD and taking decision that will greatly affect my future and I feel like it is pressuring and have to make the right decison and choices and Im not so sure abot that, therefore during this stage so much cognitive skills are used
Social Development
Social Development
- I am now so much more independent and have gained confidence and still trying to make new friends and have good relations with everyone, and hoping to have a good socail realtionship with everyone, and I feel like I have a stable friend group with friends who I can always depend on and trust through theses times, as well as a great family who has been supportive and has helped me get to who I am
- I also fully agree with erikson's theory that this stage is full of making sense of my identity and forming ideolgy from all the past information that I have gathered
