On local, state, and federal levels, MLPs advocate for policy changes that provide equitable access to healthcare.

MLPs work to increase infant vitality by closing equity gaps for mothers who face social inequities. This includes stopping an eviction, improving substandard housing conditions, getting a criminal record sealed or expunged, and helping a family access public benefits.
