Which Direction?
- UWRF has one of the strongest equine programs in the nation, with more than 70 well-bred horses.
- The curriculum provides all aspects important to the equine industry: nutrition and exercise, breeding, raising, training and riding young horses.
Minor
Science
Management
The management option emphasizes business and agricultural economics courses.
As an alternative to the Science or Management option, students can pair Animal Science with another major.
Those interested in graduate work or veterinary medicine, the science option includes the necessary hours of chemistry, math, and physical/biological sciences.
As an emphasis within the Animal Science Major, it allows three different options for choosing the right career path and job.

- products within the Industry
