Characteristics of the Valley

It has an approximate area of ​​1830 km² and altitudes that vary between 1900 and 2600 meters above sea level. Its temperature ranges between 9 and 24 ° C.

Today, most flowers sales occur in the United States, followed in order by England, Japan and Korea.

In the Eastern Antioquia, the largest number of hectares planted with Hydrangeas are located in La Ceja.

This subregion also produces Pompon, Carnation and Alstromeliae for export, although in a low quantity.
