Description: Mountain lions range in color from tawny gray, tawny red, and several colors of brown. Muscular bodies. The tail is long, up to a third of the total body length. Males are larger than females.

Males size: 100-158 lbs

Females size: 54-89 lbs

Name: Pyrenean Ibex

Scientific Name: Capra pyrenaica

Description: Can stand 3 feet tall, Bluish eyes, a large, sharp, curved beak, and a warlike headdress of spiky feathers, crown and crest yellowish with brown shaft streaks, upper parts rich brown with pale pale edges to feathers, and has yellow feet.

Mountain Lion

Ecosystem Description: from Florida swamps to Canadian forests. Mountain lions require a lot of room, only a few cats can survive in a 30-square-mile (78-square-kilometer) range.

Description: Very short hair but gets a little longer in the winter, their mane, tail, part of their legs and different parts of the body are black and the rest of the body is white, The head is brown, with the forehead and beard blackish and the outer part of the ears buff. The Pyrenean Ibex's horns were very big and thick

The role the mountain lion plays in its ecosystem is the predator. (Predators contribute to the balance of nature)

The consequences of not having any mountain lions would be over popualtion by other species.

Philippine Eagle

The Philippine Eagle was put on the endangered species list in 1995.

The Philippine Eagle can be found on the four islands of the Philippines. The forest is the eagles home.

Deforestation is why the Philippine Eagle is an endangered specie.

The people are breeding the Philippine Eagles so that it doesn't go extinct.

Pyrenean Ibex

Extinction Date: January 6 of 2000

The Pyrenean Ibex was native to the Pyrenees, a mountain range in Andorra, France and Spain. The Pyrenean Ibex preferred a rocky, mountainous habitats.

Some causes of extintion: Inability to compete well with other species for food, infections and diseases, and hunting.

To try to keep the Pyrenean Ibex from going extinct they tried cloning it.
