Alessandro Givseppe Antonio Anastasio Volta was born in Como, Northen Italy. He lived with his parents, Filippo and Maddalena in 1745. Volta did not talk until he was four years old. By the time he turned 14, however, he decided to become a physicist. In 1769, he began to study electricity and published two book's of his ideas.
