"Ava can't see him or touch him, unless she's dreaming, she can't hear his voice, except for the faint whispers in her mind, most would think she's crazy but she knows he's there" (Schroeder)
I recommend this book for people who are into mysterious, interesting, romantic, and sad books. There was all sorts of emotion twists throughout the novel. It was a great book.
The message of the story is that nothing lasts forever, and you can't hold onto your mistakes each time life gets you down. "Joy, not sorrow. Laughter, not tears. Life, not death. Love, not blame." (Schroeder)
The genre of this book is categorized as fiction.
The book is about a girl named Ava Bender, she fell in love with a guy named Jackson Montgomery. Ava dared Jackson to jump off of a cliff, so he did. In the process of him falling he hit his head on a rock and died. Throughout the book (while Jackson is dead) Ava can see Jackson, he has came back to "watch over her". Jackson plays their songs, and he would pull out Ava's drawings that she made. Ava would dream about Jackson in her dreams and that would make her feel better.
