The youth sport trust is a charity which aims to support and develop physical education and opportunities in sport for young people. They do this by, increasing the enjoyment and participation in school sport, increasing the variety of experiences in P.E at all levels. They also provide the best teaching, coaching and resources possible and aim to help young people to live healthy happy lives.
Top programmes are available for ages ranging from 18 months to 18 years and aim to provide the best opportunities that P.E and sport have to offer. All are encouraged without regard of age, disability or gender. Teachers, coaches and volunteers are also supported through the scheme. Up to and including the Sainsbury's TOP activity, the schemes focus on personal physical activity. TOP Link and beyond supports young people to develop their organising and leadership abilities.
