Artisans
- The King was the highest rank
- The king led the government
- Gave land to nobles
- Has many wives
- Believe more wives better chance for kid
- Ruled from palace in capital city
- Skilled manual worked
- Includes painter, carpenters, potters, and jewel makers.
- Earned more than farmers but less then merchants
- Main producers
Peasants
- Produce foods
- Were very pore
- Rarely had a day off
- Woman would sow
- Would sell clothes
- Still had to pay taxes
Merchants
Nobles
- Included traders, animal breeders, and money lenders.
- Didn't give up any thing for their society
- Only worked for their own needs
- Some became rich and lived happy
- When new king comes, nobles family changes
- Must give profits to king
- They get protection
- Had fancy clothes and jewels
- If crime was made the noble would be killed
- In favor of committing suicide
Officials
- Start school early to be officials
- Must pass tests to become officials
- Two best officials would be closest to king
- Lived decent lives
- Well respected
