Asian Immigration of the early 1900's
- Vetoed by Woodrow Wilson on December 14, 1916
- Congress passed the act with an overwhelming majority two moths later
- Proposed to keep "undesirables" from coming to the US
- Established the Asiatic Barred Zone which made almost all Asian and Pacific Island immigration impossible
- Ended, and replaced by the Luce-Celler Act of 1946

- Loss of wages for whites
- Standards of living dropping
- Eventual take over and destruction of the US by Asians
Nye-Lae Bill
Asiatic Barred Zones
- Granted citizenship to veterans of WWI
- Included Asian people that lived in "Barred Zones"
- Passed in 1935
Magnuson Act
- Also known as Chinese Exclusion Repeal Act of 1943
- Allowed Chinese immigration for the first time since 1882
- Some immigrants already in the US were able to become naturalized citizens
