A Native Gothic Novel
Granny Ruth : An elderly women, who is very caring. She is one of the main characters in the story. She is a fully developed character.
Tiffany : A young teenage girl. She is in a love-hate relationship with her father and grandmother ( Granny Ruth ). She is in a relation with Tony. Tiffany is the main character in the "The Night Wanderer".
Tony : A young teenage boy. He is the boyfriend of Tiffany. Tony is not the best influence to Tiffany because he constantly goes to parties and does drugs.
L'Errant : A visitor from Europe that rents the basement of Tiffany's house. He is introduced half way into the book, but has a large impact to the family.
Keith : The father of Tiffany and the son of Granny Ruth. Kieth and Tiffany have their little arguments because of the lost of Tiffany's mother.

It takes place in Ontario, near Ottawa, in a little town called Otter Ville. The setting is important to the novel because, in the novel, there is some aboriginal versus canadian conflict. The time period is around 2006.
