Our last name is mostly common in Aruba and some in The Netherlands in Europe, were it originally came from
the descendants of enslaved Africans who lived in the Lowcountry regions of Georgia and South Carolina, which includes both the coastal plain and the Sea Islands
Geography

- Yellow: the color of the abundance; source of economic prosperity and industries of gold, aloe, tourism, and oil refinery
- Red: the blood shed by the Arubans, Indian inhabitants during the French Pass War

Aruba is a 20 mile long island of the Lesser Antilles in the southern Caribbean Sea and is 16 miles from the coast of Venezuela. Sometimes you can see the mainland of Venezuela from the south-eastern coast
