Jeffery Dahmer briefly attended Ohio State University in 1978 and dropped out that same year.

Jeffery Dahmer was fresh out of high school and at this time he was living by himself in his father's house. Neither of his parents lived here at that time.

Dahmer's Apartment

High school was a pivtol point for Dahmer. During his high school years people mainly kept their distance from him. To try and fit in Dahmer started drinking and soon readily heavily on alcohol. During his senior year, his parent divorced and his mother got custody of his younger brother and they moved away. His father was nowhere to be found and thus Dahmer was alone and felt unwanted and was left with his deranged fantasies.

On June 18th, Dahmer picked up a hitchhiker named Steven Hicks. Dahmer was fascniated by his bare torso. Dahmer brought him to his house where they drank beers and then ended with Dahmer brutally murdering Hicks to either Dahmer's lust for him or Hicks rejecting Dahmer.

Dahmer chopped his body up and hid them in his yard and later dug them back up and crushed Hick's bones and spread them all over the woods surrounding his house.

Offender Status

Jeffrey Dahmer displays both characteristics of an organized and disorganized offender. Dahmer was highly intelligent and targeted strangers but he was socially inadequate, sexual incompetent and lived alone.

Jeffery Dahmer killed 17 people. Dahmer went after men, more specifically, flamboyant gay men. He predominately killed African-American men but also killed men of different racial backgrounds.

Dahmer would lure the men in with money and sex or alcohol laced with drugs. He would either rape or kill them and then conduct sexual acts with their corpses before he dismembered them. His crimes lasted for more than 13 years.

Jeffery Dahmer is a Hedoistic type of serial killer. Dahmer killed for lust of other gay men to satisfy his loneliness and his desire to express his homosexuality in a way that he was never able to when he was younger.

Jeffery Dahmer was diagnosed with a antisocial personality disorder. Which may have caused from him talking to and beating a dead animal's carcass. Dahmer's alcohol addiction also contributed to his disorder and skewed his perception of right and wrong. Dahmer did not recieve treatment.

Dahmer was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1960.

Dahmer underwent surgery at a young age. After this surgery, Dahmer started to display troubling behaviors.

Dahmer was able to stand trail. Dahmer had first plead not guilty although he confessed. Later he did plead guilty. Dahmer was then found guilty of the killings but sane and was sentenced 15 consecutive life terms in prison with a 16th term put on later on. Dahmer was killed in prison on November 28th, 1994 by an inmate named Christopher Scarver

Dahmer had lived a normal childhood life until he turned four and was diagnosed with a double hernia. He had needed surgery. Dahmer's subconscious was marked forever due to strangers explore his body in this capacity. This is the early start of Dahmer's fall into becoming a serial killer.

Another precursor Dahmer had was that in 1968, Dahmer was sexually molested by a neighborhood boy that went unreported.

Dahmer had also learned that home was no "safe haven for a child" due to his parents constantly arguing.

A childhood behavior that he developed showed warning signs of his rise of becoming a serial killer.

At age ten, Dahmer had begun experimenting with dead animals. He would dip rats in bleach and nail the carcass of a dead dog to a tree and putting their heads on a stick just to name a few. Sadly, his parents deemed this behavior to be a boy thing. In reality, it was a serial killer thing.

Dahmer was caught on July 22, 1991. One of Dahmer's victims, a African- American male escaped Dahmer's grasp and was wandering until the cops found him. He led them to Dahmer's house, with Dahmer subdued by the cops, the police found many incriminating evidence of Dahmer's dimembered victims and arrested him. His behavior it seemed had been bad due to him having to be subdued by the police.
