What can you do to stay healthy?

Health facts: Did you know?

Simple ways to get active & healthy

Eat right - Regular meals. Plenty of fruit and veg. Avoid processed or sugary food.

Drink more water - Staying well hydrated helps you concentrate. Cut back on caffeine.

Move more - take the stairs instead of the lift. Join the Two Bridges walk. Cycle or run to work, or get off the tube a stop early

Love your back - adjust your workstation to your body. Take regular stretch breaks

Spot stress - Take time out for exercise, relaxation, or to talk to friends and colleagues. Help out others who seem overloaded.

Enjoy your work - Know your strengths, and look for ways to do more of what you enjoy in your role.

Network - Get to know your colleagues. Two heads are better than one for generating ideas and solving problems.

Smokers have more time off than non-smokers (male short term absence 46% higher, long term absence 81% higher. Female absence 9% and 37% higher)

900, 000 working age Londoners will experience mental health problems each year.
