The Noble Qur'an describes that an angel appeared to Maryam to announce to her the "gift of a holy son"Maryam was astonished , and asked: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?"
When the angel explained to her that she had been chosen for the service of Allah (SWT), and that Allah (SWT) had ordained the matter, she devoutly submitted herself to His will.
The Noble Qur'an further describes that Maryam retreated from her people (outside the city), and gave birth to Prophet Isa.underneath a remote date palm tree. The date palm tree miraculously provided nourishment for Maryam during labor and birth
