Toyotomi Hideyoshi

was born on March 17, 1537 as a peasant.

1585 Hideyoshi was chosen kampaku (assistant of the emperor) then later became dajo-daijin (chief minister). He was given the name of Toyotomi by the emperor.

In 1592 he invaded China, Philippines, India and even the Korean peninsula. Japan's forces inadequate for undertaking such magnitude.

Hideyoshi invaded Korea for the second time, he died deeply upset about how the war turned out.

In 1568 Hideyoshi fought many battles while Nobunaga began his take over of Central Japan.

Hideyoshi in 1573 overthrew two powerful daimyos and became a lord of Nagahama, Omi provice and took the name of Hashiba, Lord of Chikuzen.

1582 Oda Nobunaga committed suicide after his friend Akechi Mitsuhidre betrayed him, then Hideyoshi went to honor Nobunaga and defeat Mitsuhidre.

1577, by order of Nobunaga, hideyoshi invaded Bitchu province.

Died on September 18, 1598.

Hideyoshi defeated two men in a battle and then allowed them to commit suicide. Then after Hideyoshi con cored many important strongholds, he also built a castle in Osaka.
