When Dolphins hunt and catch their food it is called corralling. This happens when dolphins chase their prey as close to the shore as possible. Then the prey is stuck in-between the shore and the dolphin(s).
To eat, dolphins usually use one of two techniques, one is called herding and the other corralling. If the fish is too big for the dolphin to swallow it will hold the fish by its tail, (tail inside the mouth) and hit it against surrounding stones or if is shallow enough, against the ocean floor.
The dolphin has three stomachs, the fore stomach, the spherical stomach and the pyloric stomach. First food travel through the fore stomach. The fore stomach is also a storage area for food. After the fore stomach, food continues towards the spherical stomach. The pyloric stomach is the last stomach food goes through. In the large intestine liquids are taken from the food. After the large intestine, comes the rectum where the leftover waste is made into feces.
The Human digestive system is very different to the Dolphins digestive system it contains different sections and parts the human digestive system contains a Parodied gland, salivary gland,Esophagus,Liver,Stomach,Gallbladder,Pancreas,
small intestine,Large intestine (Colon),Appendix,Rectum and Anus.
In conclusion, dolphins are very cool animals that live a fun an healthy life style. They live in habitats full of animals they can eat, and stay away form predators. They also live in groups, just like humans live in families. Also, they have a similar digestive system, in some parts at least.
