Wedding
In India there food is made up of various spices and curries. In Indian culture cow and cattle are worshiped for there milk and meat, So most Indian's don't eat beef.
Indians typically create gravies to serve over rice with flat bread , which they dip into the sauce. For example, a popular dish is Dal Mahkni which is a butter-based gravy dish served over rice., Another popular meal is curry chicken, which is made out of a of a tomato-based sauce.
Indian weddings usually last for more than a couple of days and are a very big tradition in India to get married. It shows wealth love and an alliance between the family's. 95% of the marriages are chosen by the parents. The night before the wedding The bride gets tattooed with henna. The longer the henna dies the skin and shows up the colour after it washes away the more affection to her soon to be mother in-law. On the evening of the wedding the groom rides down the streets on a white horse wearing a white veil to shield the evil spirits away. When both the bride and the groom arrive the bride performs a ceromny with 2 cups of water to represent souls not separating. then they pour puffed rice into each others hands to represent their love. The bride and groom walk around the sacred fire seven times keeping in mind the four aspirations in life: Dharma (duty to each other, family and God), Artha (prosperity), Karma (energy and passion) and Moksha (salvation). After the ceremony has finished they dance and sing untill the sun shines

India's main sport is cricket which has been played since the 1800s. The mens cricket team is called team India or the men in blue.Chess, wrestling, polo and hockey were believed to have originated from India.
One of the reason many people go to India is because of it's monuments and structures that amaze the world.
like the famous Taj Mahal, the Taj Mahal was built by a husband for his wife Shah Jahan!
Another Famous attraction in India is Hawa Mahal which is a building made out of pink and red clay and stone.
Religion
The main religion of India is Hinduism and Buddhism. The people of india once in their life or ,more bathe in the Ganges to wash away their sins. In some religious schools the children carry thread with them at all times to represent god. Indians are very superstitious as well a s having a lot of differrent belives

India is a very bright and full of culture.Diwali is India's most celebrated festival. The festival lasts 5 days and is known as the festival of light because of the lights lit during the celebration to symbolize the inner light that protects them from spiritual darkness. Holi the festival of color also known as the festival of love is very popular in the spring.
India is the fastest economy in the world.In the east of India is swamp to the west is harsh deserts , the south lush , green forests and the north is the Himalayas. The Ganges is the largest river in India with a length of 2. 5 km. the country's size is 1/3 of USA size but is the most densely populated country in the world. The land mass of India is 3.287 km square.
The Sacred Cow
The cow to Hindus is their ruler who will look over them and protect them therefor they do not eat the cow or harm it in any way because if you do so you will get fined harshly or sometime killed. They also believe that the cow poo is sacred.the cow represents strength.
