Basics of the ENTP type

everything you need to know to befriend and understand one of the most complex personalities

ENTPs are extroverted

which, among other things, means that they draw their energy from being around other people

ENTPs prefer to be with people who want to do something, whether intellectual or physical, as staying still can bore them very quickly

and bored ENTPs are the ones who will probably end up accomplishing world domination one day

ENTPs are often very charming, and become the center of attention without trying

their naturally charismatic personality means that many ENTPs are expert flirts

one of the strengths of the extroverted nature of ENTPs is their ability to include everyone and make them feel valued

ENTPs love to take charge, and may sometimes get a little carried away

however, ENTPs often make wonderful, visionary leaders

(very) simply put, ENTPs like to think

about everything.

this is another reason that ENTPs are natural leaders

ENTPs use their often vast intellectual capacity to look at a problem or situation from every angle

they analyze the pros and cons of all possible approaches, usually quicker than many others would think of a single solution

T stands for Thinking

ENTPs are not ones to let their emotions to have much effect on how they view life

most ENTPs would rather put things in a perspective of reason and rationality

however, this does not mean that emotions do not play into the way they process; on the contrary, an ENTP's emotions are often very strong, sometimes tainting the way that he or she thinks about something

ENTPs are merely skilled in separating emotion from reason, looking at the value of both, and choosing which will suit their purpose more

because of this, it isn't uncommon for an ENTP to be seen as calculating

N stands for intuitive
