What is Clique Hunter?

Clique Hunter shows you sites that more than one of your competitors get links from. That can save you hundreds of hours playing catch up.

If your objective is to choose links that help competitors who are great at search, then these links certainly aren't hurting them!

By finding domains that link to more than one competitor, you find sites where there is a realistic chance of getting a link

Above the full results is a visualization showing 10 most imprtant hubs for your sample. The darkness of the box colour shows the number of matches from that domain to the queried domains. So "findbankeasy.com" on the left links to more of the domains than doogo.com. The thickness of lines shows represents the number of inbound links. Why is Clique Hunter so Powerful?

Clique Hunter is also incredibly fast. This is because it does not try to scrape third party sites on the fly. Majestic SEO has it's own, dedicated engine to power Clique Hunter

For several years, Majestic SEO has been crawling the web independently of the search engines and we now have a far larger map of links on the Internet than even Yahoo. It is by far the largest independently available link data graph on the planet. This is the data that Clique Hunter uses.

Getting more results

You can see all the results below the visualization, seeing how many links each hub is sending to each of your competitors. So Ezine articles has 7 links to investopia.com but only 1 to loanshark.com

Enter up to 10 Root domains

By default we show 1000 sites in the hub uthority list, but if you are on higher subscription levels, you can increase this list to 3,000 or 10.000 or even 25,000 results by selecting the depth of analysis dropdown.

You are also able to increase the number of results shown per page or very quickly reorder the lists based on a variety of variables

It makes sense to add up to ten sites that you consider worthy competitors, but do not choose sites which have many other business interests than you, as these tend to have many unrelated links.

Filtering the results

Remember that the tool currently works at the root domain level only, so do not at blogspot or other subdomains. You can add sites with a www, but the root will be used in the calculations

You can also amend the original list of 10 sites or export the file to CSV. This can prove especially useful to help you filter and segment the results further.

When you have listed the sites, click "hunt".
