I felt that I did answer my question, but I only found some answers. The reasons I gave were that they had a large rise to power after many attempts which made them more motivated, strong leaders, and well thought out alliances. However, I feel that there are still other reasons for them being so powerful.

I think that Germany was so powerful because their strategy was more based on brain, rather than brawn. I think this because in stead of trying to get the most fit men into the Nazis, he thought ways to always be one step ahead of the other nations. For example Hitler thought of putting the aircraft help into his army. Another thing is that, like I mentioned before, that Hitler has been named one of the most two faced men in history and he used that to his advantage by persuading nations that he wasn't two faced. However I think he was.
The name "Axis" a reference to the straight geographic line between the capital cities of Rome and Berlin came from a pact signed by Germany and Italy in 1936, to which Japan became a signatory in 1940. Later throughout this war a number of nations would either willingly or unwillingly, throw in their lot with the Axis. However, Germany and Japan remained the principal powers in this alliance.
Now here is where the title of this slide comes in. The first German soldier killed was by a Japanese soldier. Germany was scared by this fact and regretted making the Axis.
The Nazi party started as a gang of unemployed soldiers in 1919. Hitler ruled the Nazi party, he did this by persuading them with his speeches about national pride, militarism, commitment to the Volk, and a racially "pure" Germany. Hitlers main goal was to overthrow Germany and begin his reign of power. In 1923 Hitler took his first attempt to overthrow Germany, and failed miserably. In 1929 the Nazis then ran to be the political leaders of Germany, but once again failed with only 2.6% of votes. However, Hitlers dream came true in 1933 when the Nazis marched into the governments main building and rose to power.
After the Nazis rose to power Hitler began his mission of world domination. He made Germany willing to go into a more war based economy than any other nation at the time. Hitler was able to prepare for war very easily, but at the same time he was able to promote peace and convince foreign leaders to join him. Some people say he is the biggest two faced man in history. Another aspect that made them so powerful was that they had many good leaders such as Hitler and Manstein, which other countries lacked.
Manstein was adopted by General George Von Manstein, that is where he got his military background, after his parents early death at his young age of 3. At the start of world war 2 he served as chief staff in the invasion of Poland. Later on in his position during world war 2, he devised a plan to invade France. Though his plan was shot down by the German High Command, Manstein brought it to Hitler who loved the idea, putting him on a very high note early on. Hitler then named him the new general. Manstein died after world war 2, at the age of 86 (born in 1887, died in 1973)
