Resolution
- Ariel is finally free from being Prospero's spirit
- Caliban is also free from being Prospero's servant
- (In my ending) Everyone goes back to Naples and Prospero gets back his title of Duke of Milan.
Falling Action
- Prospero finally gives Miranda to Ferdinand. Ferdinand and Miranda get married!
- Caliban, Trinculo, and Stefano attempt to carry out their plan of killing the king. They sadly fail when they are distracted by fancy clothes and hound dogs that Prospero sends chases them away.
- Prospero has Ariel gather all of the noblemen up and brings them together so that Prospero can show them that he's still alive and so that they can apologize to him.
- Prospero brings them all to his house on the island and shows Alonso Ferdinand and Miranda being together.
Exposition
Rising Action: pt 2
- At the beginning of the play, the king of Naples (Alonso) and all of his noblemen are on a ship. A storm starts to brew and the ship wrecks, everyone then gets seperated.
- The daughter (Miranda) of the former Duke of Milan (Prospero) learns that her uncle Antonio took over Prospero's role as Duke of Milan and that when she was a little girl the king and Antonio banished them from Naples to the island that they are on now, somewhere in the Mediterranean.
- Miranda sees the king's son Ferdinand on the island. They end up meeting and falling in love. Then they profess their love for each other and get "engaged".
- Caliban convinces Trinculo and Stefano to kill the king.
Climax
Rising Action: pt 1
- Antonio and Sebastian, two of the king's friends make a plan to kill the king but don't succeed in their attempt.
- Caliban who is a monster/man lives on the island. He is the son of witch sycorax. Caliban is Prospero's slave but decides to be slaves for Trinculo and Stefano, who are butlers for Alonso, because he thinks that they are gods.
- Ariel, Prospero's spirit/slave, bring the noblemen and the king a banquet, but he uses this opportunity to scare them. Ariel takes the form of an ominous bird spirit and brings guilt upon the royals. He reminds them of what they did to Prospero and Miranda.
