RITE OF PREPARATION
The prayers after the Communion are praising God for the gift of Qurbana.

The final blessing given by the celebrant signifies Jesus' blessing over the apostles.
This phase consists of four sets of gehandha prayers
Celebrant’s request for intersession.
Kooshappa- celebrant's prayer stating his unworthiness to stand at the altar of God.
Pranamajapam- These prayers addresses all the different persons of the Holy Trinity. These prayers also commemorate the milestone events from the act of creation, events of Christ’s life and the life giving mysteries of Baptism and Eucharist.
Kanona- each gehanda prayer is concluded with praising God (kanona) for all of its benefits.
Through the reception of the Holy Communion the congregation can experience communion with God.
The body and blood of Jesus are joined with our human nature so we can experience divinity.
This prayer leads the faithful to the reconciliation with God, universe and fellow beings. As a sign of reconciliation the congregation recite the Lord’s prayer.
