Location

The Wetzel's Pretzels has an estimated requirement of 400-600 suare feet of total space with a minimum of 15 ft of frontage.

These requirement are met by the current GNC store in the mall, which we would take over. It corresponds to store 5 on the chart above. It's also a good location because it's next to some childrens stores where kids can smell our deliciuos food and ask for a pretzel.

Competition

Auntie Anne's has two locations in FSK Mall. We will handle this competition with better advertising and selling our pretzels, $1.00 cheaper on every similar item.

Although Mr. Fresno is technically a 10% owner of the company, considering his investmant, he is actually not a true CEO. Our contract together is personal and won't make him a partner in this business. But he still owns 10%.

Also with partners comes conflict. Me and Jeremy might have small conflicts with business decisions, especially regarding location and advertisement.

Myself and Jeremy will run our branch of your franchise under a Partnersip. Since we are splitting our investment toward the company and the banks, we will share the profits as two CEOs of Wetzel's Pretzels at FSK Mall.

We both have ran fund-raisers together raising over $70,000 for our Church and Band, which should qualify us well for this position. This also gives us mutual support because we are both friends and can motivate each other to succeed wiht this franchise.

Wetzel's Pretzel's at FSK Mall will SERVE it's customers with delicious meals. This service makes this business a Service Business.

Advertising will be handled by Jeremy who plans on launching new commercials, a huge sign hanging at the front entrance of the mall and also flyers will be posted all around the city of Frederick.

Jeremy and I have a well-thought plan for this business, but unfortunately we have both made the decision not to franchise Wetzel's Pretzel's at FSK Mall. Based on personal experience and research on the demographics behind people coming into this Mall, there would be little to no business, nor profit.

  • A very small population visits this mall, especially on weekdays
  • Auntie Anne's being a competitor makes it hard to recieve enough customers, despite good advertisement
  • Auntie Anne's being so similar gives uneccesary competition where we can move the business to a different location
  • Creative, because I branch new innovative ways to sell items in fundraisers often.
  • Goal-Oriented, because i raise the bar high when it comes to setting goals and i always achieve them.
  • Independant, because i often take on many tasks on my own, like my band trip fund raiser, that allows me to work alone, yet I'm still active and achieving the job at hand.

In order to start this Wetzel's Pretzel's at the FSK Mall we need between $107,500 and $256,000

In order to aquire this capital there are three payment methods:

  • $60,000 will be split between me and my partner Jeremy $30,000 each
  • $100,000 will be lended from J.P. Morgan Bank in D.C.
  • $50,000 will come from a personal investor named Jacob Fresno who agreed by contract for 10% of our companies earnings lifetime
  • The total capital for our business Proposal is $210,000
