Present Progressive Form

Present continuous form is used to indicate an action that has been occurring and is still occurring at the moment.

Present perfect form is used to talk about an experience from the past. It is also used to talk about something that has changed or new information.

Past perfect tense expresses an action in the past before another action or event in the past.

A sentence in past simple form describes an event that happened in the past.

Future perfect form is used to express an action that will happen before another action or event in the future.

Present simple tense is used to describe general or habitual actions. Actions in the present simple form do not necessarily have to be happening at the moment.

Past perfect progressive form expresses actions in the past that occurred before another action in the past and continued a period of time before stopping.

A sentence in past continuous form describes an event that began in the past and continued to occur for some time before stopping.

Future continuous form is used to talk about an action that will begin in the future and will continue to occur up to a certain point in the future.

Present perfect progressive form is used to talk about a situation that began in the past and has stopped in the present. It is also used to talk about a situation that began in the past and is still continuing in the present.

Future simple form is used to express an action that will happen in the future. It is also used to make a prediction about an action that will happen in the future.
