SIGNIFICANT OF STUDY

THANKS YOU =)

CONCLUSION:

  • The volume of the bottle effect the pressure needed for the egg to pass through the mouth of the bottle.

  • Different grades of the egg required different amount of pressure to enable the egg to pass through the mouth of the bottle.
  • A hard - boiled egg can inserted into a bottle with a narrower opening because of air pressure .
  • The burning newspaper used up the oxygen in the bottle.
  • The air trapped inside the bottle expand because of the heat. After a while, the fire inside the bottle dies, causing the air inside to cool down then resulting in a lower pressure inside the bottle.
  • The egg inserted into the bottle because of lower pressure inside , and a greater pressure outside the bottle.
  • To understand thoroughly about the principle air pressure that has been applied.
  • The significant study of an egg in bottle The heat is used to provide a lower pressure inside the bottle . When there is more heat inside the bottle, the pressure inside the bottle becomes lower, and thus the pressure outside becomes higher than the inside. This allow the egg to pass through the mouth of the bottle.
  • This is what we refer as a partial vacuum.

METHODOLOGY

OBJECTIVE(S)

crush up a piece of newspaper and light it with a match

smear some water around the mouth of bottle.

place the pointing end of the egg on the opening of the bottle

Lift the egg up and carefully and carefully put the burning paper into the bottle & place the egg back on top of the bottle

Record every observation . Time egg suck into the bottle

  • To determine the effects of air pressure and the properties of using different grade of eggs.
  • To demonstrate the volume of the bottle related the air pressure required push egg through.

INTRODUCTION

  • Gas tends to decrease as the volume are increase .
  • When the temperature increased, the volume will also increased. This is because when the temperature increased, the air will expand and causes the volume to increase or enlarge.
  • The purpose of this project is to relate the concept of physics theory and its principles :

> Charles Law is the theory that were being applied where gases tend to expand when heated .

> Boyle’s law shows how the pressure of gas tends to decrease as the volume increased.Pressure, P inversely is proportional to the volume.

  • When change the temperature of the air inside the bottle, the pressure of the air inside the bottle is change . If volume of air is constant and heat it, the pressure of the air increases. If the air is cooled , the pressure decreases. If the pressure inside the bottle is lower enough, the air pressure outside the bottle will push the egg into the container.
