- Grendel's mother wanted revenge for her son's death.
- She went to get his arm from Herot and in the process grabbed Hrothgar's trusted adviser, Aeschere.
- Hrothgar gave Beowulf orders to go kill Grendel's mother.
- Beowulf went to the murky lake she lived in and fought her.
- He sliced her head off and sliced Grendel's head off in return of his arm.
- Beowulf was a hero and always did the right thing.
- Glendel and his mother represented evil.
- As Grendel went to attack the people in Herot, Beowulf decided to go and defeat him so he went to help the king and his people.

Good and Evil always clash but good always overpowers evil.

Beowulf : Good Vs. Evil
- At first, Beowulf struggled to defeat the dragon because he had broken his sword and his men had rushed back to safety.
- During the fight the dragon bites his neck and blood starts to flow so Wiglaf, Beowulf's best friend helps him kill the dragon.

Beowulf dies after his fight with the dragon and he leaves his kingdom to Wiglaf.
In Modern Life Beowulf is compared Batman because he represents good. The Joker represents Evil. Batman is forced to fight the Joker because he kills people and Batman must put a end to it so he fights Joker and defeats him.
