Roles and Responsibilities of the Aftersales Manager:

David is responsible for all aspects after the initial sale of the cars. He sets targets for the aftersales department and holds meetings to discuss these.

He is also responsible for the ordering of parts needed to service customer cars, as well as used cars purchased by the buyer for company sale.

David informs the service team of any requirements needed for specific vehicles and ensures that all standards are kept throughout each service.

Roles and Responsibilities of Sales Executives:

Sales executives are responsible for the initial sale of cars, new or used.

They answer directly to John and Chris (the new and used car managers) as well as the GSM Peter.

The sales department ring customers and answer enquiries on a daily basis, arranging meetings and accepting deposits on new and used vehicles.

The team are set daily goals by Peter and quarterly goals by both Mark and Peter.

Mike, similar to Chris and John, answers to and collaborates with Peter.

He is in charge of the finance sector of the sales department, selling insurance and funding for both new and used cars.

Mike holds meetings with customers and evaluates their financial options, giving them advice and guidance aimed towards taking Bentley finance choices.

To do this he has to confer with the Sales Executives also as they direct the new and potential customers to him if finance is needed.

Satinder is responsible for the booking of services due for customers cars and purchased used cars by the company that need servicing before they are able to be sold, as well as any up-selling that is involved in this.

Up-selling includes things such as valet, chips-a-way and accessories that may be added to cars as an attempt to bring in more profit, whilst customers vehicles are in for servicing.

Business Manager: MIKE!

Service Advisor: SATINDER!

Roles and Responsibilities of the GSM:

Peter is the manager of both new and used cars, and answers directly to Mark.

He is in charge of morning sales meetings with the sales department and delegates daily tasks and targets to the team. Ensuring they know what needs to be done for the day, and offering advice and help where needed.

He has also decided to allow the sales team to arrange and deliver the morning meetings between themselves, adding in any information that they feel necessary to include; as well as offering information and being present himself.

Alongside this, Peter sells new and used cars alongside the Sale Department and sets personal daily goals for himself also.

Roles and Responsibilities of the DP:

Mark is at the top of the organisational structure for Bentley Birmingham. Essentially, everyone in the dealership answers to Mark, even if it is not directly, and is through their department manager first.

He is responsible for making all important decisions relating to the dealership and setting personal and team goals for each department.

Mark decides on events to attend and arrange alongside Chameli, the marketing manager. This includes charity events throughout the year that Bentley Birmingham support as well as awards such as the Business Woman of the Year award ceremony which Mark himself was a judge for this October (2015)

Roles and Responsibilities of the Used Car Sales Manager:

John is the manager responsible for the sale of new cars; he answers directly to Peter.

He has a target of new cars he needs to sell quarterly along with the sales team and strives to exceed this.

John is also responsible for new product information given to sales executives to update them on upcoming events. A recent example of this is the new Bentley Bentayga, which is touring this October, making sure all Sales Department staff are fully aware of all aspects of this new car and its features so that they are able to inform customers and ensure they can answer any questions asked.

Sales executives answer to John.

Dealer Principal (DP)/ Head of Business: MARK!

Chris is the manager responsible for used car sales and like John, also answers to Peter.

He too is set quarterly targets which he aims to exceed and reaches this goal along side the sales team also.

Chris is responsible for buying cars from auction to sell within the dealership, he does this alongside the full-time buyer, Michael. He is able to buy them from the dealership, Mike can collect them, and they get brought back to Bentley Birmingham to be serviced and valeted.

The sales executives also answer to Chris.

General Sales Manager (GSM): PETER!

New Car Sales Manager: JOHN!

Used Car Sales Manager: CHRIS!

Roles and Responsibilities of the Marketing Executive:

As the Marketing Executive Chameli is responsible for the organisation of events involving both Bentley and Lamborghini.

She confers with the GSM Peter and the DP Mark to ensure that all events are done to the Bentley and Lamborghini standard.

As well as this, Chameli finds out what funding we have to spend on events, and is in charge of using our marketing capital in the most effective way possible to attempt to bring in new and existing customer business.

Marketing Executive: CHAMELI!

Financial Controller - MEENA!

Roles and Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:

Meena is in control of staff (payroll), administration, finance, debt and accounts. She has to be completely organised at all times to ensure the smooth function of the dealership.

Meena has to keep strict records of all aspects of capital that is incorporated with the dealership from lease cars on site to ordering and purchasing stationary.

Managing all accounts and keeping appropriate records that is as specific as possible to ensure that everything within the company is up to Bentley standards and that all documentation is lawful.
