The petroleum is located in underground layers of land or in underwater basins thousands of meters deep.

It is a fossil hydrocarbon, from the sedimentation of organic material that was deposited and for thousands of years was covered by various layers of sedimentary material and even rock formations.

What will happen?

To begin with, it will be the end of globalization, many machines will stop working, thousands of factories will be closed (because all petroleum products cannot longer be redone).

what is it made of?

petroleum is mainly composed of hydrocarbons, which are compounds of hydrogen and carbon, mostly paraffins, naphthalene and aromatics. Along with variable amounts of derivatives saturated homologs of methane (CH4).

Why is petroleum important?

What is petroleum?

Without a doubt we will have a very serious economic loss, until we find a way to solve it.

Eventually, the human being adapts to the needs, and will find new methods to satisfy them.

petroleum is the most important source of energy today; It is also material that processes on the chemical industry. The origin of oil is similar to coal. Petroleum is a fossil resource that is used as primary energy; it replaced the coal that was the main source of energy at the end of the 19th century. The oil is a dark colored liquid, oily appearance, strong smell and density between 0.8 and 0.95. It is formed by a mixture of hydrocarbons

Currently petroleum is a very important factor in our daily lives, in this project we will present you what would happen if one day we run out of this non renewable resource that we use every day.

For which there are many advantages of making us independent of oil.

Some experts even go so far as to see possible oil deficits as a factor of stability in world politics Advantages: We will be one more planet ecological.

We will significantly reduce the main emissions of vehicles.

It represents a saving of between 25% and 80% of the CO2 emissions produced by petroleum fuels, constituting an important element to reduce greenhouse gases

What will happen when we run out of petroleum?
