Symbiotic Relationship
Unfortunately, there are no symbiotic relationships that seahorses have.
But here some cool facts:
- The males carry the baby seahorses until they are old enough to swim on their own.

- The Narrow bellied seahorse found on the western coast of Australia.
- Some problems facing the oceans of Australia are rising sea levels and fertilizer run off making its way into the ocean and harming the ocean life.
- They spend most of their time in or on reefs, macroalgae, and seagrass.
Status of the Seahorse
General characteristics
- The status of the Narrow Bellied Seahorse is not really known, it's currently considered data deficient.
- But they are reefs where they block off people from going to preserve the seagrass.
- Size: Range from 9 cm to about 22 cm in length
- Diet: They mostly suck small crustaceans and planktonic organisms into its mouth.
- Lifespan: The lifespan is unknown due to very little research.
- Distinctive characteristics: They are often brownish grey with combinations of yellow, white, and brown with 5-6 strips across the snout. Females are thinner.
