The three dimensions and their purposes of Holy Orders
Three Dimensions: *The Bishop
*The Priest
*The Deacon
Sacrament of Holy Orders
Could the lack of understanding and knowledge about these dimensions be a reason for young people not taking up Holy Orders?
The Sacrament of Holy Orders is the continuation of Jesus Christ's priesthood, which He bestowed upon His Apostles. This is why the Catechism of the Catholic Church refers to the Sacrament of Holy Orders as "the sacrament of apostolic ministry."
Genesis 2:22-24
Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib[a] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.”
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.

What is the Scriptural and Church's Teaching On Marriage
When the Catholic Church teaches that marriage between two baptized persons is a sacrament, it is saying that the couple’s relationship expresses in a unique way the unbreakable bond of love between Christ and his people.
Mark 10:8
" And the two will become one flesh so they are no longer two but one"

What is a Synod
What is Marriage?
- In its simplest form, marriage is union between a man and a woman for the purpose of love. In marriage each party is to give up some rights over his or her life in exchange for rights over the life of the other spouse.
Church's View on Marriage
-The church sees Marriage as heavy devotion of both the male and female counterparts to ultimately reproduce and spread the good news that God has to offer.
Scriptural Teachings on Marriage
A Synod is a general term for ecclesiastical gathering under the hierarchical authority for the discussion and decisions of matters relating to faith, morals or discipline.
The sacrament of marriage contrasts the couple's unconditional bond and love to the unbreakable bond and love that Christ shares amongst his church.
In marriage, the scriptures teaches us that marriage is a true commitment of love.“Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” 1 Corinthians 13:7, In marriage both spouses must have unconditional love for one another not a fickle feeling of love.
The scriptures informs us in the book of Genesis 1:28 to “Be fruitful and to multiply” in essence raising offsprings with the unconditional love that the Lord has for his creation.
What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”The term “one flesh” means that just as our bodies are one whole entity, God intended it to be with the relationship of a man and woman through the act of Agape.
Marital Issues Regarding to Society
Marriage in today’s society is far different to marriage in the past.
It is evident that in today’s society, young people’s commitment to marriage is not as great as the commitment that can be seen in the older generations of marriage.
This act of self-idolising one’s self can have a snowball effect, starting out as a minor issue gradually becoming a major issue.
“The number of marriages decreased in 2015 by 7,602 (-6.3%)”, “The number of divorces increased by 2,019 (4.3%) in 2015”.
The harsh reality of today’s society is that people are becoming more selfish and are only taking account of the needs for one selves and not others.
According to the Australian Bureau of statistics, the number of marriages have decreased, whilst the number of divorces have increased.
