My American Dream : Future
In the future i plan to be retired from whatever carrer choice i've chosen. I want to live out of the United States and be settled on an island somewhere. If i've had children by then i'd like for them to live near me and have lots of grandchildren to take care of me. I hope to be in good health and stable where i'm living. I'd also like to be wealthy not neccesarily rich but not financially struggling either. I feel more money brings more problems then needed. I hope to have traveled the world and explored many countries. I want happiness, peace, and love in my life.
My Dream house
I plan to have a nice sized home for my
family and my husband to live in. As well
as a mini house built in the backyard for
those who are less fortunate and who are
homeless. I want my family to be close and to
always come together no matter what money
may bring because it can never replace the love
of a family.
Happiness is key
The Traditional Dream/ New American Dream
The Dream from years ago has changed from what
people think the actual American Dream is now. Being
famous, rich, and sucessful is what we see our American
Dream to be now a days. You will find that most people
actually believe it is easier to win the lottery then to actually
obtain an American Dream.
My American Dream Past, Present, and Future
My American Dream : Present
I plan to finish high school and attend college after. I currently want to go to college for either Forensic science or to become an accounting. I want to be successful in my career choice. When i achieve this dream i plan to buy a large house and car. My family and i would never have to worry about things financially. Now that i am older i've realized that i no longer want to have children. I love kids but i feel they aren't for me. If i happen to marry the right person who wants children and i feel is family oreintated i would gladly give them a boy or two but NO girls. I still want a husband someday but he doesnt have to be a football player or basketball player. Whoever comes along and is right for me thats good enough.

My American Dream : Past
When i was younger i always dreamed about being a doctor or a Lawyer. I would watch commercials where they would show children who suffered from cancer. I always felt bad and wanted to do something to make them feel better. I knew if i was to become a doctor that i could possibly change how those children delt with their illnesses. My passion of wanting to become a lawyer spired from always being in court with my mother and seeing how they handled cases. I did research on lawyers when i was younger and found out they make alot of money. I really wanted to become a lawyer then but later realized i'd have to go to college for a couple of years. Soon i lost interest in being a lawyer because i didn't want to be in college for approximatley 7-10 years. I also wanted to have at least 4 children and a respectful husband. I wanted my husband to be a football player or a Basketball player. If he wasn't either of the two we were just going to be friends. My husband had to make a decent amount of money as well.
The Traditional American Dream
The Traditional American Dream back then was to have a nice size
house, family, land, animals, and to have your own business. People
then strived to make the best of what they had, and you found
people to be a lot more greatful for little things they may have had.

People from the 1900's based their wealth off of land. They
depended on natural resources, and animals to provide them with what they needed.

Opportunity
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
I have a dream today.........................
I hope to be given the same oppurtunities as everyone who have worked to earn them.
