- This frog eats insects, small rodents, and small birds.
- It occasionally eats the tadpoles that it guards.

- Alligators, Crocodiles, Coyotes eat a turtle
- Monitor Lizards (tadpoles)
- Birds (adults)
- Falcons, Owls, and eagles eat small birds and bobcats eat birds.

Unique Adaptations
- It has toothlike projections on it's lower jaw to restrain struggling prey.
- This frog can hibernate in a mucus sac for 7 years.
- Once the rainy season ends it burrows 6-8 inches into the ground and seals in a mucus membrane.

- It is the second largest frog in the world
- They are from South Africa
- A male has a yellow throat and the females is cream
- Males measures up to 9.5 inches
- Females measure up to 4.5 inches
- Can weigh over two kilograms
- Has olive-green bumpy skin
- Only it's hind toes are webbed
