The things you need to learn in collage is criminal justice, police science, criminalistics, and criminal science. Education training and experience require different levels in different occupations. They usually have a high school education and some departments require one or two years of collage courses or a collage degree. Most deactivates learn everything while on there job.

The important skills you need to be a police detective are reading level 5, Active listening level 6 Writing level 5, Speaking level 5, critical thinking level 5, active learning level 5, learning strategies level 5, monitoring level 4. The less important skills you need mathematics level 3, and science level 3.
