Italy's Death Rate

Life Expectancy

An Italian health card

Italy's Health Care System

Italy's yearly death rate

Italy has a death rate of 10.19 deaths/ 1000 people. It has thankfully been decreasing, but has been moderate for the most part of every year. Canada however beats this at scoring 7 deaths/ 1000

The life expectancy in Italy is 82.94 years from the 2014 census, beating Canada's at 81.24. women have a life expectancy of 85.2 years, and males have a life expectancy of 80.3 years. In Italy people live a lot longer than most countries because there way of living is organic, natural, and one of the most healthy. Their food is grown substantially healthier than your average, and their way of agriculture is one we should all adapt to.

Italy's healthcare system was ranked 2nd best in the world with 77% of healthcare being public. Healthcare here works in a public and private way. Family doctors are paid by the SSN, and over the counter drugs are paid out of pocket. Specialists are $40 per visit for private, wealthier people, and the cost is free for poor people.

Italy's Birth Rate

Italy has a birth rate of 8.84 births/ 1000 people, and 1.40 births per woman as of the 2014 estimation. The birth rate has been slowly decreasing year by year. This is because families have been downsizing, as the urge fro many family members has subsided.

Roccamoricae however is located in the North and has a larger population of 1000 residents. It is also is in the province of Pescara.

Italy's Environmental Initiatives

Italy's Development

A brief Video of Rome

Italy has become very strict about the amount of pollution, waste, and harm hey are creating. Over the past years Italy has managed to reduce a lot of this by the new laws they have implemented. They have been slow to change their ways, but now they are making an effort to change. Italy was one of the countries in Europe with the worst air pollution, and they are slowly trying to undue this. So far not many things have been done.

An agricultural economy, with many farms is previously what Italy's economy was primarily based on. In the last few decades Italy has been transformed from an agricultural environment into a highly developed country. Italy is one of the world's most industrialized nations and continues to grow and develop to this day. However the heritage will never change.

Italy is the country of food. Traditional food in Italy is . . . any kind of pasta, cheese, meat, wine, and many others. Italians believe that homemade food is the best kind, and it is made whenever they can. If you've tasted authentic Italian food the flavors are incredible and there is a vast difference from the regular store bought. Making their own tomato sauce and wine, is one of the biggest traditions in Italian heritage. Many people here are Catholic, and Christian
