The Yeoman - Also known as little John. He is the servant who accompanies the Knight and the Squire.
The Yeoman wears green from head to toe and carries an enormous bow and beautifully feathered arrows, as well as a sword and small shield.
His gear and attire suggest that he is a forester.
The Yeoman's tale is about a Canon who practices alchemy, but is short of money.
The Canon borrows money from a wealthy preist. After the Preist gives him the money. It is returned in three days.
To show his gratitude to the Priest, the Canon offers to reveal some of his discoveries, and shows a few tricks.
For example he burns a piece of wood which is actually a hollow branch filled with silver, but sealed at both ends.
The gullible Priest offers to pay a substantial amount of money for the secret of turning wood into silver. Once the Canon gets the money, he disappears.
The show follows two men showcasing contrasting survival skills and techniques. Cody Lundin; a minimalist and primitive skills expert, survives alongside Dave Canterbury; a military-style survival expert and professional hunting guide and tracker.
It's not only ironic that one of the survivors name is Dave Canterbury. They are both modern day outdoorsman that represent the Yeoman.
