- There has been great debate about whether or not a psychologist should have the right to prescribe medication to their clients.
- The argument that psychologist do not have the same training as physicians.

- Psychologist will not move to areas that are in lack of mental health attention
I think a prescribing psychologist is a good idea based on the facts of there being a shortage of people getting the medication they need. However, I do believe there should be additional training.
Conclusion
- Eleven states will be introducing proposed medications to their laws that will allow psychologist to prescribe medications.
